Amy in Friday Food Tour, bbq, breaded tenderloin, restaurant reviews

Boy, where did this month go? I can't believe we're almost into October! We're sneaking up on Grant's favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, and it'll be Christmas before you know it. Sheesh. At least we still have Halloween to look forward to - hmmm..., what kind of orange drinks can I make? I'll debate that, but let's head on to the Food Tour for this week!

Des Loines was hanging out up by Clear Lake and tried the breaded tenderloin at Rich's Muskie Lounge in Ventura. Looks like a good one, so check out his review here.

We missed the World Food Festival last weekend, but Distilled Opinion was there and tried several $1 tastes. He put up this recap with some great photos.

Since their recent opening, Exile Brewing Company has been getting lots of people talking - Cityview's Food Dude visited the new restaurant/bierhalle and gives us his view on the latest brewpub in the metro. We so need to go there.

We were happy to see that Woody's Smoke Shack made the list on theChive's Best BBQ Joints in the USA. Quite the accomplishment! We would have to agree, their BBQ is outstanding.

I ran across these cool Tipsy Wine Glasses somewhere this week. Wouldn't it be funny to switch one of these out with a regular glass on a friend that's had a few?! If I didn't already have like 100 wine glasses at home I would definitely pick these up.

Enjoy your last weekend of September!
