Nov 2, 2012 Here we are into November...I swear, if I get ONE more political phone call I am unplugging my phone until next Wednesday! So flippin' annoying. But food isn't annoying, so let's head on to the food tour for this week...
Local award-winning BBQ competitor, Marlando "Big Moe" Cason has had his share of winning on the circuit, but none as big as last weekends' Jack Daniels World Championship. Big Moe won 2nd in the sauce category and is planning to launch his own sauce on store shelves soon. Read all about his success in this KCCI online article.
We love ice cream and after reading this post from Slaking Fool on Over the Top Chocolate and Ice Cream in Pleasant Hill, I'm already thinking about flavors I want to try. Holy yum.

You know how you always feel a little smarter after a couple of drinks (or is that just me?)? Well, according to discovery.com, science has proven (well, sorta) that intelligent people drink more alcohol than our less than saavy tee-totalers! Feels so good to be vindicated on my happy hour consumption.
