Friday Food Tour 3.04.11

Happy Friday! A lot going on this past week with the local blog scene. Thought I would feature a few of the great posts you may have missed.

Distilled Opionion featured Independent Iowa Food Blogs this week. Check out some local bloggers that are serving up the best in the Iowa food and restaurant scene. Iowa Foodie was honored to be included!

Des Loines had a new post up on the Luana Tavern and (gasp!) a GRILLED tenderloin. Just kidding, it looked very tasty and we're already thinking Luana Tavern is worth a road trip sometime soon.

Jill over at Top 100 Des Moines Restaurants stopped in at Bistro Montage recently. Take a look at the photos of their dinners and you'll be making a reservation pronto.

The latest posts from Cory over at coryeats have featured all of the great places he's been eating in Memphis. The Rendezvous (which was closed the last time we were in Memphis - dang), Gus's Fried Chicken, yes we're jealous.

And Jim, over at FoodIowa posted a review of a new restaurant on East Grand, La Plaza. Sounds like we have another new place to add to our list of restaurants to try!
