Friday Food Tour 10.12.12

I have been staying up way too late watching the baseball playoffs! Makes for a groggy morning, I'm just sayin'. But haven't there been some great games?! Will be sad to see the end of baseball for the year. So let's see what's up on the Food Tour...

Tumea and Sons is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in DSM, so it was nice to see this Examiner review on their great food. Their red sauce is killer.

I had never heard of a Cheese Frenchee, but after reading this post by Slaking Fool, it's moved way up my "food I need to try" list. Crispy and cheesy? Sounds good to me.

If you haven't dined at Cooper's on 5th yet, you should definitely give it a try. This article from the West Des Moines Patch gives some great insight on their continued success.

This event was actually last Friday night, but I wanted to pass it on anyway, because how cool would it be? An under-the-moon, 5 course dinner served by zombies? Awesome.
