Friday Food Tour 1.11.12

It's supposed to be kinda warm around these parts today - could be a good day to go out for a nice, long lunch, right? Or I think so, anyway. We've got lots going on in the Food Tour today!

Found another 'new-to-me' local food blog the other day - And I Like To Eat. It's apparently written by 'a wayward youth,' but this review of the burgers at B & B Grocery sounded pretty good to me.

Manon over at Des Moines Good Eats was at Maxie's recently. Take a look at her yummy food pic and rundown of her meal here.

Des Loines was down in southern Iowa for his latest breaded tenderloin stop. Check out the porky goodness at the Dinky Diner in Decatur City in this post.

Slaking Fool always hits the new places in town, and fast. He was at the new Flying Burrito (downtown Des Moines location) and gives us this report, with awesome pics, as usual.

As you know, I always look for the coolest drinking gadgets - well, this one may be my favorite one, ever! It's a Remote Controlled Rolling Beverage Cooler! I'll never have to get up from my seat on the patio again. It's the next best thing to having a fridge next to the recliner, right? Too cool.
