Friday Food Tour 3.29.13

Could it be that we are finally getting a bit of spring in Central Iowa? Even I, the non-hater of winter, am ready for a warm breeze in the air. Here's hoping the sunshine and warmer temps stick around for a bit. On to the food tour for this week...

Slaking Fool has been at brunch - this time at Exile Brewing Company. He tried several dishes and the photos are proof that everything must have been pretty tasty. Check it out here.

I really enjoy reading The Fomaro Files. I think George is a great writer and this post on What Makes a Great Restaurant should be required reading for anyone that writes about or reviews restaurants. Or wants to open one.

As you know, Easter is this Sunday. If you celebrate this holiday, you should celebrate with a cocktail, right (just like all holidays in our house!)? So here's a whole bunch of fun Easter cocktails to help you out. Oh, and you'll need wine, lots of wine. Or maybe that's just me.
