Friday Food Tour 9.20.13

We sure hope everyone came through the storms OK yesterday! We survived with a couple of dents on the car from a big tree limb that came down - at least it wasn't as bad as a couple of years ago when a whole tree fell on our house! But at least it looks like a beautiful weekend ahead...

Who doesn't love cheese?! Loved this post from Slaking Fool on some very different cheeses he's been trying. Grant would for sure try the pepper cheeses, he loves hot stuff.

It's fun to read some 'behind the scenes' stuff every now and then, so I really enjoyed this post from Eat Play Love Des Moines - they chatted recently with Chef Sean Wilson from Proof.

I've been craving a tenderloin the past few days - so I was drooling over the photos in this latest review from Des Loines on The Classic Deli in Brooklyn. That's a good looking breaded tenderloin!
