Friday Food Tour 01.31.14

There is certainly no shortage of fun events going on this weekend in the metro - Baconfest and the BRR Ride are on Saturday, Feb 1, the annual Groundhog Day Party is on Sunday, Feb 2, and, of course, I've heard there is some sort of football game on Sunday, too. Should be plenty of eating and drinking going on! So... what do we have for the Friday Food Tour this week?

It is Bacon Week due to the aforementioned Bacon Festival, and Eat Play Love Des Moines has this fun write-up on their Bacon Elegance dinner. Looks yummy.

As we struggle through this cold winter (Holy Utility Bill, Batman!), there's nothing better than some warm comfort food, right? Chez Bonne Femme recently posted a delicious recipe for 7-Bone Pot Roast that looks like something Grant needs to make this weekend.
