Mar 28, 2011 One of the best parts of our vacations in Mexico is the food. Since our focus here is on Iowa food, I thought I would make a separate section for our posts on Mexico so just those that are interested could read about our trip. This little island, 5 miles long by a 1/2 wide, serves up some of the greatest food we've had anywhere. There are so many great restaurants that it was hard to choose which one to try next. So here's our Mexico's Greatest Hits of food!

Like I said, we had some great food. More detailed posts will be up soon, but that's a quick tour of the best dishes we had during our 2 weeks in the Mexican caribbean. The seafood was unbelieveably fresh and everything was so flavorful . We'll be adding a section soon if you'd like to read more in-depth posts on our trip to Isla Mujeres so... more to come!
