What a difference a week makes! Temps have certainly cooled down and fall is on the way. Better find those footie pajamas.

Distilled Opinion dropped by Flour and gives us his view on the unique pizza they're serving up. It looks tasty and while their hours don't work well for us, we're going to have to try to get there soon.

Another review in for Zombie Burger + Drink Lab. This time it's Slaking Fool that offers up a review of the mucho popular burger place. We still haven't made it there, but boy, I'm ready.

Iowa's Latino Heritage Festival returns to downtown Des Moines this weekend. Now in it's 9th year, it's an event the whole family can enjoy and is the biggest of it's kind in the midwest. And the food! - you'll want to eat your way through this festival, for sure.

And finally, would you drink your favorite cocktails from a tap? A new trend means draft cocktails may be coming your way. It sounds kind of weird, but then again, I'd drink cocktails pretty much however you serve 'em. Read all about it here.
