It's time for the Friday Food Tour! – a weekly wrap up of posts from other blogs and websites, Iowa-based and beyond. There's always something going on in the foodie blogosphere, so check out these links.

First of all, has anyone gotten the chance to eat at Flav's Fried Chicken, the hip hop/reality star's new restaurant in Clinton, Iowa? He kind of creeps me out with his big clock bling, but I'd be interested to hear if his chicken is all he claims it will be.

Serious Eats has been running a series called 'The United States of Pizza' and a few weeks ago the spotlight was on Iowa. The post featured several pizza places in Des Moines and other cities in the state. Check it out and see if your favorite spot made the list or leave a comment and let the rest of us know where we should be heading for our next pie.

And speaking of pizza, the Des Moines Register reported that La Pizza House, a long standing tradition in Des Moines that closed last August, has reopened.
