Friday Food Tour 11.09.12

Looks like we're going to have a gorgeous couple of days to start our weekend. I'll take it! Because it looks like things will go downhill on Sunday. Might even have to find a patio to hang out on tomorrow afternoon. That would be pretty cool for November, huh? So let's head on to the tour...
I loved this new post from Cityview's Food Dude on the revival of Schlitz, a most wonderful beer. I swear, I learn more from his posts than anything else I read. Oh, and Shorty's Somewhat Fancy Bar looks pretty awesome, too!
The Datebook Diner was at Trostel's Dish recently and gives us this review. With so many restaurants jumping on the tapas bandwagon, it's nice to see that Dish is still doing it right.
We eat pretty often at the High Life Lounge, in fact, their cheeseburger basket is one of my go-to comfort foods. In this new post from Slaking Fool, he tries several items on the menu with some great photos, as usual.
If you're looking for a quick and easy recipe, this Parmesan Crusted Chicken from Des Moines Foodster may be just the ticket. 4 ingredients, 30 minutes? This looks like something even I could make!
Fresh Cut Grass, Electricity, Wasabi - what do these have in common? They are all new vodka flavors from ODDKA Vodka! Check out this post on these interesting new vodkas from Drinking in America. I must say, I'm intrigued by a vodka called Electricity...
Enjoy your weekend. Eat good food.
