Friday Food Tour 12.27.13

Here we go, last Friday Food Tour of 2013. Been a year of mixed reviews, so here's hoping 2014 is much more spectacular. Did you eat something awesome for Christmas dinner? Make sure to celebrate New Year's Eve for us, we're usually in bed by 10:30!

I'm still playing catch-up on the blogs I used to read all the time. Thought this post from The Dish on Des Moines on the new Up-Down Barcade was fun. They have Galaga! One of my favorites from high school.

Grant loves a good gyro, and according to this review from CoryEats, Saraj Cafe & Bakery in Urbandale is a good place to get one. We'll have to check it out.

Another Grant fave, Thai food! Well, he wouldn't turn down Asian food of any kind, really. Eat Play Love Des Moines! has another great review up on Zuzap in Clive. They go everywhere!

I stumbled upon this Tumblr the other day - Iowa Brewery Tour. They are traveling Iowa drinking craft beer and hope to visit every Iowa brewery! I would definitely be in on that fun. Here is a post on their stop at Confluence Brewery in DSM.
